Duties and responsibilities

Based at our welcoming hospital in Blackpool, which performs a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will provide leadership and support to all clinical departments - promoting patient focused quality care. You will work with heads of department and MAC representatives in developing and rolling out our clinical governance strategy. You will also be responsible for investigating incidents; ensuring effective outcomes.

Who we are looking for

You will be a Registered General Nurse with a proven track record in senior clinical management and strong experience in clinical governance and audit. You will be comfortable making operationally focused decisions, leading and motivating teams and be commercially astute, with a strategic mind-set. You will also have experience with performance management, cost control and scheduling.
