Registered General Nurse opportunities for a specialist addictions unit

Up to £32,000 + benefits


Pulse is delighted to be working alongside a leading private healthcare provider to recruit Registered General Nurses for their dedicated addictions unit; specialising in drug and alcohol detoxification unit for over 18s.

The unit is a 26 bedded residential community unit. We are looking for dynamic and motivated RGNs who would like to specialise in substance misuse nursing. Many service users will have other mental health and physical conditions, and quite often will be experiencing challenging life circumstances.

The client offers a welcoming environment and tailor all treatment and recovery care plans to support them throughout their stay. They pride themselves on the strength and proven success of their recovery programme.

The successful candidate will be working alongside a specialist multi-disciplinary team that includes an onsite GP service. They will become an integral team member to deliver high quality care.

For Registered Nurses we would be interested in those who have worked in environments where they have cared for patients with drug and/or alcohol addictions or with challenging behaviours.

A non-judgemental approach is essential as is possessing a genuine interest in addictions.

Posts are nights only or internal rotation.
