Following the appointment of the Director of Quality, Innovation and Improvement we are seeking an innovative, self-motivated, energetic and accomplished nurse to join our senior leadership team in our new Senior Nurse position.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an outstanding senior nurse leader and manager, with excellent strategic and clinical leadership skills, as well as a proven track record of delivering high standards of performance. The post requires a dynamic individual with the ability to manage large scale change in a multi-faceted environment, whilst maintaining effective and productive relationships with partnership organisations.
As the most senior nurse in NWAS, you will be a role model to our staff and provide professional leadership and advice to our clinical leaders and our vibrant nurse community. The specific portfolio of improvement work will be designed with the successful candidate and tailored to the individual’s interests and strengths. The Trust is passionate about developing our staff and we can offer excellent opportunities for personal development, and mentorship and support will be provided.
This post would be suitable for a senior nurse with ambitions to work at an executive level in the future. In this post you will make a significant contribution to the Trust Board and represent the Trust externally, interacting with CCG’s and provider organisations across the North West and joining the Chief Nurse community as our representative.
The demands of our business are changing and we need to ensure we have a team that can work in an agile way with patients, our workforce and the Trust Board to implement our ambitious plans.
