Their hospital in Harrow are looking for a Sister / Charge Nurse to join their Surgical Ward

This post is full-time for 37.5 hours per week and you will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. The hospital provides services to adults and children from 16 years of age. The hospital has five theatres, an endoscopy suite, a Level 3 Intensive Care unit and offers a self-pay, walk-in Urgent Care Centre, open 7 days a week, from 8am - 8pm.

Key Competencies and responsibilities include:

You will need to be a qualified Nurse and an additional nursing qualification would be highly desirable. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing and the Ward Manager and work towards achieving business KPIs.

You will deputise for the Ward Manager, and consistently provide a high standard of nursing care.

Ensuring that standards of care are developed and maintained in line with the evolving changes in clinical governance and risk management. Strong interpersonal, team skills and evidence of resource management is needed within this role.
